Information Security Analyst (Boca Raton, FL)
Job Purpose:
Ensures the safety of information system assets by developing and administering technical controls and maintaining data security policies, standards and guidelines on all computing platforms to ensure users have appropriate access to computer resources and to protect files, applications and programs from unauthorized access and threats to the environment.
Major Duties:
Acts as first tier support for information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures for all computer platforms. Assist in the organization, preparation and maintenance of data security documentation according to established procedures to facilitate on-going support.
Promotes security awareness through maintenance of the security intranet site. Raise awareness and educate users and resource owners of their responsibilities toward maintenance of security and the use of security tools. Ensure quality and control of documented procedures, policies and tools for effective controls of corporate information assets.
Maintains a professional level of expertise by attending outside trainings and seminars and through the review or published literature
Assists with security aspects of implementing new software applications and documenting processes. Leads or participates in projects as assigned
Process all authorized requests for access to applications, data and computer resources according to service level agreements in order to satisfy customer requirements. Maintains consistency for information access and identification of authorized personnel via identity and access management systems
Participates in company audits as required to address any issues raised. Ensure compliance with corporate security controls and procedures through diligent monitoring and review of security logs
Utilizes the appropriate tools to administer the security of multiple platforms inclusive of Windows, Unix and/or Linux, Database, Mainframe, Network, Anti-virus and Anti-malware to ensure the safety of information systems. Research, identify and resolve data security problems by using appropriate diagnostic and reporting tools to ensure problems are resolved in an effective and timely manner.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
Associates degree plus 2-3 years information security experience. Bachelors degree preferred. In lieu of the associates degree equivalent work experience required.
Technical knowledge of platform security, network security with a working knowledge of Windows, Unix and/or Linux, Mainframe and Database security.
General knowledge network security and firewalls and familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the information security field.
Demonstrate excellent organizational, planning, communication and problem solving skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
Project management skills

Responsible for performing residential standard home theater
installations associated with video installations and service
(troubleshooting) to tap; routine multiproduct disconnects (requested
and non-pay); inspection and installation/upgrade of residential
