Overview:

The Presentation Designer should be both innovative and creative with the tools they use to create unexpected results and solutions, and capable of working on pre-production of creative assets for events and corporate internal projects for non-event clients.

Responsibilities:
• Create event logos based on theme creative concepts using design programs like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Design PowerPoint templates based on an existing event logo or existing branding guidelines using Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop, and layout in PowerPoint, with color palettes, fonts and sample layouts
• Design and produce print collateral material for event such as: Banners, Posters, Newsletters, Nametags, Podium graphics
• Collaborate with an art director and/or creative director to carry event theme concepts and design throughout all on-screen graphics from animated walk-in loops to speaker transitions and speaker support
• Proof and edit PowerPoint presentations
• Travel with a production crew from Cramer to provide on-site speaker support for live events such as National Sales Meetings, User Conferences and Corporate Trade shows. Travel is required with this position.

Skills:
Our ideal candidate must have a strong background in design and typography. In addition, the Presentation Designer must have:
• Strong Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills
• Expert PowerPoint and Keynote skills, especially in animation (PPT versions 2003- 2010)
• Experience working with background design and PowerPoint for large format screen sizes (i.e. 80’ screens)
• Experience creating non-traditional PowerPoint projects like wide screen animation, tradeshow loops; working with audio and video
• Candidates must have strong communication and presenting skills, with the ability to thoughtfully explain creative decisions

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in InDesign and Flash.

The ideal candidate will be:
• A strong designer with experience creating event logos, animation, and dynamic presentations; and the ability to run graphics on-site at large scale corporate events.
• A creative problem solver who finds innovative solutions to bring ideas to life visually and in motion. The ideal candidate should have experience working one-on-one with clients, who include top-level executives, and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts.

• At least 3 years of experience running live graphics from multiple sources on-site at large, corporate events
• A minimum 2 year degree in Graphic Design
• Ability to help scope and budget new jobs

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We're looking for an experienced digital designer for our rapidly growing, venture-backed, online banking business - PerkStreet Financial. While banks' websites and marketing are typically complex, boring and dense, we prefer to use great design to make the online experience simpler, more pleasant and visually appealing. We think great design will help people understand information and functionality that otherwise might be complex and frustrating. Here's the short list of things you'd be doing:

* Help refine our brand look and feel and ensure consistency across all communications
* Make design decisions based not only on the what's visually appealing, but also based on how information can be most easily absorbed
* Develop designs for our website pages, display ads and email communications
* Create compelling infographics to convey complex information quickly and compellingly

REQUIREMENTS

* 2-5 years of digital design experience, print experience a plus
