Embedded Software Engineer-OOD-TDD-Agile (Amesbury MA)

Thu, 09/09/2010 - 13:53
Embedded Software Engineer - Object Oriented Design - Test Driven Development - SOLID - C++ - Agile
Amesbury, MA

Fluidnet was founded in 2002 by a group of medical device professionals who collectively have over 100 years of industry experience and product innovations. The company is headquartered just north of Boston, providing access to a rich medical device community and first-rate research and development skills and facilities. Fluidnet is relentlessly dedicated to exploring, listening to, and responding to the unmet needs of nurses, doctors, patients, and healthcare IT professionals.

We are creating a team to build the embedded medical device software for the Fluidnet pump in a high performance Agile SW development environment. We are seeking a software engineer with 5+ years of experience and a solid background in the following critical areas:

Strong Object Oriented Design skills, and working knowledge of SOLID design principles, especially in C++
Experience working with Test Driven Design, especially Google Test and Google Mock
Experience working in an Agile development environment

Also a plus:
Experience with Boost libraries; design patterns; and IOC containers

Although experience working in a high-performance Agile SW development team is desirable, a willingness to immerse yourself in an Agile team is a must.
