Popular NECN entertainment series has an immediate opening for a freelance video editor.

We are looking for someone ASAP with the following:

- 1-2 years editing experience, preferably in broadcast television.
- Expert-level Final Cut Pro knowledge; you must be able to edit quickly and tell a compelling story.
- Knowledge of motion graphics packages; at a minimum be familiar with After Effects.

The Audio Visual Tech/ Shop Assistant is a motivated individual with a background in A/V and is able to assist with daily shop operations and corporate event activities. Some weekend and evening work required with occasional travel. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Qualified Candidates Must Have:
* 3-5 years solid broadcast experience
* General Class FCC License or an equivalent certification; SBE certification a plus
* RF transmitter experience.
* Strong experience with Information Technology infrastructures, computer networks and audio playback systems is required.
* Knowledge of audio production and office software programs (such as Drupal, Word, Excel, Audacity, Final Cut Pro, Audition, Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, html, etc.)
* Superb organizational and communications skills (verbal and written)
* Must be available for after-hours emergency or routine maintenance as the need arises
* Valid drivers license with clear driving record is required

I am a professional photographer in the Merrimack Valley area. I am looking for several male and female high school senior models graduating in 2011. I will be conducting portrait work in a variety of outdoor locations during the WEEKS OF JULY 26th and AUGUST 2nd. Models must be available for 1-1.5 hours and must have their own transportation to the shoot location. No purchase is necessary. All photos may be used for our studio's promotional work and will be posted online. We are a fast growing new media company that produces entertaining and engaging video which features different aspects of culture around the world: music, food, art, fashion and design. We take our video work very seriously and look at it as modern film making. We are looking for highly motivated and experienced sound operators to record sound on a variety of projects, from music oriented pieces that could be shot acoustically or plugged into a sound board to sit down interviews.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated critical thinkers who take pride and ownership in their work and are familiar with many different facets of film and video.

You must have your own equipment (boom, shotgun, lavalier, mixer) and on almost all shoots you will be plugged directly into the camera. H4N-Zoom is okay.
