Design and implement scripts for instance monitoring, maintenance, backup, cloning, etc. utilizing T‐SQL, SSIS, Reporting Services and Analysis Services.
Design, write and deliver class content and presentations for workshops, seminars, web casts and conferences.
Serve as a recognized expert in the SQL Server community by contributing to newsgroups, blogs, trade magazines and community web sites.
Knowledge and Skills
Candidate must be an experienced DBA who has worked on SQL Server 2000 (preferably SQL Server 2005 as well). Must understand the SQL Server architecture at a 300‐400 level.

Software Developer- Part Time (Long Island - Carle Place)
A Long Island based medical IT start-up company is looking for a serious, passionate, driven and innovative software programmer to join our team of highly motivated and hard working individuals. The programmer will be in charge of developing a software to run on PCs and the Cloud with data security in mind. The programmer must be experienced in JAVA and C++ programming, data security and encryption. The candidate must also have experience in HL7/CCR and writing technical documentation. The selected candidate will be working closely with the CEO and CTO of the company, will be part of the start-up, and will be involved in building up the company from the ground up with great potential for growth. Initially this is a part time position. Compensation will be mostly in the form of shares in the company depending on the candidates background and extend of knowledge and experience.
