Jr. Quality Assurance Analyst

Required experience:

Business Object Developer Consultant (Midtown)
6 months with the option to extend to 1 year
Duties:
Programmers are responsible for developing Business Objects Enterprise (BOE) universes and Web Intelligent reports.
Other duties include:
Perform complex design and coding that is likely to involve compressed time frames, and complex business / technical requirements
Develop Business Objects universes and Web Intelligence reports, and migrate Business Objects reports to Web Intelligence reports
Support the development of a deployment strategy for the Business Objects repository
Support the deployment of universes and reports.
Develop and deliver all required technical solution documentation in accordance with the Enterprise Lifecycle (ELC) methodology
Develop test plans and perform testing including unit and development level integration testing, as needed
Monitor, make and implement recommendations to improve performance
Track defects as they occur; Perform defect resolution fixes based on the needs of client Testing, customer Acceptance Testing and Production issues
Assist with the configuration and maintenance of system environment modes & profiles
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum five years experience in Business Objects Reports development using Designer, Business Objects, and Web Intelligence
- Experience in Business Objects deployment and administration
- SQL and Tools to access Oracle databases
- Strong background in Software Engineering Methodology
- Strong relational database experience (SQL, Oracle 8i/9i/10g/11i)
